Day 1 Brussels
Welcome to Belgium. The City of Brussels is the largest municipality and historical centre of the Brussels-Capital Region, as well as the capital of Belgium. It is also the administrative centre of the European Union, and is thus often dubbed, along with the region, the EU's capital city. You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Check in at the Hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2 Brussels – Bruges
Breakfast at the Hotel. We will proceed to Bruges. Bruges, the capital of West Flanders in northwest Belgium, is distinguished by its canals, cobbled streets and mediaeval buildings. Its port, Zeebrugge, is an important centre for fishing and European trade. In the city centre’s Burg square, the 14th-century Stadhuis (City Hall) has an ornate carved ceiling. Nearby, Markt square features a 13th century belfry with a 47-bell carillon and 83m tower with panoramic views. We will arrive in Bruges at 1100 hrs and proceed for your Panoramic City Tour of Bruges. Go on a wonderful tour around the most outstanding attraction of Bruges, the capital of West Flanders in northwest Belgium. The city boasts breathtaking canals, cobbled streets and mediaeval buildings. During the tour you admire the sights of Bruges, including the town square, the Beguinage and the oldest hospital in Europe built in the 12th century. You also see the Church of Our Lady, where the Emperor Maximillian of Austria married. Rest of the day is free at leisure to explore Bruges on your own. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 3 Bruges – Brussels
Breakfast at the Hotel. This morning we will proceed to Ghent. Ghent is a port city in northwest Belgium, at the confluence of the Leie and Scheldt rivers. During the Middle Ages it was a prominent city-state. Today it’s a university town and cultural hub. Its pedestrianized centre is known for mediaeval architecture such as 12th-century Gravensteen castle and the Graslei, a row of guildhalls beside the Leie river harbour. We arrive and start with our Panoramic Tour of Ghent. An important port in northwest Belgium and home to a quarter of a million people, Ghent boasts its gorgeous historical backdrop and a museum-like pedestrian area in 13 the city centre. During the visit of Ghent, your chauffeur guide shows you the must-sees of the city. You walk through the old city along the canals crossing bridges to enjoy the view of an Old Castle. You also get to see the three famous Gent towers – Saint Nicholas' Church, the UNESCO-listed Belfry and Saint Bavo's Cathedral. Entrance to Saint Bavo's Cathedral is included. Later we proceed to Brussels. Arrive in Brussels and check in at the hotel, Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 4 Brussels City Tour
Breakfast at the Hotel. Proceed for a Guided Panoramic City Tour of Brussels. We begin our visit with a short stroll in the Old City Center. An experienced guide provides information about the world-famous GRAND'PLACE with its unique City Hall and splendid guild houses. We continue our adventure trail through the Capital. We pass by the magnificent St. Michael's Cathedral, The Congress Column, The Heizel District with the renowned Atomium, the remarkable Chinese Pavilion and the Japanese Tower. Via the Palace of Laeken we drive back to the centre. and visit the Triumphal Arch and St Michael's Cathedral and the Zavel district with its many antique stores. After the impressive Court of Justice and the elegant Louise Square, we drive to the stately Royal Square, the Royal Palace and the Old Palace of the Nations , which is now the home of Parliament. Around the Jubelpark with its grand Triumphal Arch and exceptional museums we can see some excellent examples of Art Nouveau houses. Then around the corner, the heart of Europe beats. The buildings of the Commission, The Council of Ministers and the European Parliament House; the main institutions of the E.U. After the tour you are free to explore Brussels in the comfort of your vehicle. Return to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 Brussels - Antwerp – Brussels
Breakfast at the Hotel. Proceed from Brussels to Antwerp. Arrive and proceed for a Panoramic Guided Tour of Highlights & History of Antwerp . Getting an overview of Antwerp’s sights when you don’t know your way around. Avoid the research and see and learn more in less time than if exploring alone on this private walking tour. Follow your guide to must-sees such as Rubens House, Grote Markt, and Butchers’ Hall; enjoy time to ask personal questions on Antwerp’s history, and get tips to inform your later sightseeing. Later free for some time on your own in Antwerp. Later we will return back to Brussels. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 6 Brussels
Breakfast at the Hotel. Check out of the hotel by 1100hrs. Day free at leisure on your own until departure transfer to the airport/train station.
